Zeenat Aman’s Instagram avatar in 2023 is just wow! Indian OG* has graced IG with her presence finally. In her previous avatar in the 1970s and the 1980s, she has been a very popular actress, fashion model, beauty queen and a heart-throb of millions of her dedicated fans.
She has always been famous for her on-screen bindaas (damm-care) attitude – carefree and daring. She ruled the hearts and minds of her avid fans. Thereafter, she had been maintaining a low profile in a world dominated by social media platforms, besides paid promotions and staged public relations. Now, a few decades later, in February 2023, in her latest avatar, Zeenat Aman on IG – the seventy-one-year-old diva has been trending on Instagram. Here are a bunch of her Instagram posts, which were loved by thousands.
We too love her IG posts.
*OG: Today, some people consider "OG" to mean "original," according to Merriam-Webster. In both cases, the term is used to describe someone or something that is the original or originator, particularly if said person or thing is very respected or highly regarded. An "OG" is extremely talented and authentic in what they do. {~USA Today}

Why hello there, Instagram.
Zeenat Aman’s Instagram – Satyam Shivam Sundaram, 1977
She was considered too Westernized – by Indian movie standards; hence many doubted her ability to portray an Adivasi lady in this 1977 movie.
This picture was taken by photographer J P Singhal during a look test for Satyam Shivam Sundaram around 1977. We shot the series at R K Studios, and my costumes were designed by Oscar winner Bhanu Athaiya.

Zeenat Aman’s Instagram – Love after Love by Derek Walcott
On the occasion of International Women’s Day (March 8), she beautifully recited a powerful poem – Love After Love by Derek Walcott.
A friend sent me this powerful poem by Derek Walcott one morning. It moved me, and I just had to share it with you. So yesterday I popped into @zanuski’s music studio and asked him to hit record.

Zeenat Aman’s Instagram – her signed autographed pictures
In the age of mobile phones and selfies, she reminisced about the bygone era – when the autographed pictures of movie stars were cool collectables.
I was surprised to be recognised on the ferry back from Alibag the other evening. I had thought my age, my sunglasses and my mask would keep me incognito.

Zeenat Aman’s Instagram – visiting Oxford Street, London
How much the world has changed in the last 45 years – as this photo shows?
Oxford Street has changed over the last 45 years, but not nearly as much as I have. I’m in London for a brief visit, and it’s been such fun to show the boys my old haunts. Between personal visits and film shoots, the city was a second home of sorts for many years.
