A brief note about strong Family bonds in India
As we mentioned above, the concept of family (including relatives in an extended family) is deeply rooted in India. More often than not, love and a strong bond among family members do exist in almost all the families of the Indian subcontinent. Therefore, when money matters and property disputes take centre stage, the relationships among family members get soured and adversely affected.
But then, not everyone is the same. Regardless of their differences, most of the members of the Indian family, tend to come together during times of marriage, birth, childcare, death and other festive (and not so festive) occasions. Despite everything, the “Family” is considered to be the most important aspect in the context of Indian society. All of these aspects have been sensitively and emotionally depicted in the movie.
For example, the "Golusu" scene perfectly depicts the powerful kinship bond between a brother Arulmozhi (Arvind Swamy) and a female cousin Bhuvana (Swathi Konde) in the film. This movie scene is possibly the best one in the film. We also loved this tearjerker scene, as it made many viewers like us emotional and nostalgic.
Unique selling proposition (USP) of the film
The USP of the film is the depiction of their undeniably positive relationships and beautiful screen chemistry between the two leading actors, viz., Karthi (Meiyazhagan) and Arvind Swamy (Arulmozhi) of the film. The strong bonds among family relatives and friends have been excellently portrayed, where an ‘old cycle’ plays an important part. No doubt, the USP of this film is the representation of the relationship among “Family and Friends”.
Recently, we watched actor Arvind Swamy putting another good performance in the "IC 814 - The Kandahar Hijack" Hindi series.
