Trailer

This film that got started with the live experinces that I had with a lot of people who were cheated during the COVID-19 period by all these cyber fraudsters, you know, those instant loan apps, those deep fakes. So I thought, this is a story of acommon man that has to conveyed to them, make them aware about what you know cyber fraudsters, actually, how they operate. So this is the reason, I started writing the film. And I thought since I had a firsthand experience with them, so I wanted to direct and tell them, how the whole mafia operates. So this is how (movie) started.

Writer/Director/Actor Sonu Sood’s screenplay and movie

Sonu has done a fairly decent job as a writer. The screenplay was predictable. Still, many Indians will appreciate that he has focused his attention on the ongoing “cyber-crimes” and “cyber-frauds” in India. Of late, cybercriminals are having a field day in India, as the authorities are still trying to catch up with rapid technological advancements. No doubt, Sonu has excelled as a director. Special praise must be given to all the action directors and fight – coordinators/choreographers mentioned above. The intricate and very well-choreographed fight sequences were the highlights of this film.

Movie characters & Actors (Males & Females)

This being a One-Person Army action movie, almost all the attention and screen time was dedicated to the protagonist Fateh (Sonu Sood) in this nonstop action-packed film. So, we learn the details about his life in both past and present. How was he a part of the secret (spy) agency of the Indian Government? And how did he shift base to Moga, Punjab? His character is adequately etched out. In this film, Sonu looked much more comfortable in fight scenes than in the emotional scenes.

On the other hand, we did not learn extra background details about the other key characters, like, Khushi Sharma (Jacqueline Fernandez), Satya Prakash (Vijay Raaz), Raza (Naseeruddin Shah), Nishit Biswas (Dibyendu Bhattacharya), etc. We would have certainly loved to see more of the talented trio – Naseeruddin, Vijay and Dibyendu.

The conclusion

If you are an action movie aficionado, then you might enjoy this adrenaline-pumping action flick from India. There is far too much blood and gore in most of the fight scenes. It is nice to see, that Sonu Sood has donned many hats in it. Honestly, this Indian movie reminded us of the “John Wick” action movie franchise from Hollywood. And given the ending of this film (or was it a hoax), anyway, we believe that Sonu Sood may start a similar “Fateh” movie franchise in India. In case, this movie goes on to win the box office. There is more to come. Till that happens, you enjoy the Fateh.
