What did we love about this show?
We loved the efforts put up by the entire cast and crew of this fictional historical tale to create an authentic and raw setup of the wild-wild Western world of the United States of America in the 1880s period. Even the costumes lent their credibility. The stories about the indigenous Native Americans also seemed to be true.
Besides, a couple of famous actors have portrayed the roles of actual historical personalities, viz., Tom Hanks as General George Meade and Billy Bob Thornton as Timothy Isaiah “Longhair Jim” Courtright. All in all, along with Isabel May, the real-life spouses – Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill did a good job.
The conclusion
Besides, this show has a good storyline and it boasts some of the great actors in its ensemble, who have done a good job in it. It takes us back into the modern history of the United States of America, how the West was won and how immigrant people from Europe (and other places) planted their roots and made them their homes in North America.
