Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) versus Gabriel (Esai Morales)

This high-tech movie is dominated by modern tech. gadgets. In the film, the hero IMF agent Ethan Hunt tries to hold his own against rogue agent Gabriel. However, he could not keep pace with him. Even with the latest weapons, other hi-tech paraphernalia and the active support of his team, Ethan fails. So, what could be the reason for his failures?

The Entity

Well, the answer is the Entity. As it seems Gabriel is actively backed by The Entity. This entity is perhaps the next generation of the most powerful supercomputer with its artificial intelligence. In addition, with its advanced calculation prowess, it can predict the outcome of any kind of event. These events could be taking place in the present time or maybe sometime in the future. The Entity – this is what Ethan Hunt is up and fighting against.

The Entity has Artificial Intelligence (AI)

This anonymous, nameless, remote and invisible foe is one of the most formidable enemies of Ethan. More so, in the connected world of today’s information technology. Indeed, we are living in a complex world dominated by high-tech. AI is a new kid on the block. No doubt, it offers immense possibilities. But on the flip side, there are inherent dangers associated with such kind of technological advancement, with little control.

Maybe, this is one of the lessons that can be drawn from this film. As our world is trying hard to increasingly and rapidly move towards a high-tech world. However, that might put the intelligence and power of humans against that of machines. And this might become a problem for all of us. The humankind of the 21st century is going the face the music. In case, we are unable to handle AI maturely.

Amazing Tom Crusie is the super agent Ethan Hawk in MI films

Throughout seven movies released so far, Tom Cruise and his MI films have become synonymous with each other. These MI films boast unbelievable action sequences, awe-inspiring stunt scenes, and mind-blowing use of high technology – both real and imagined. In addition, we get to see Tom working hard to keep the world safe. As a super agent, Tom shines through in the MI cinematic sphere. In the deadly world of spies and agents, Tom inspires confidence.

Awe-inspiring action & breathtaking stunts

Some of the action sequences in this particular film are simply awesome. It has shocking and baffling stunts too. They have released a YouTube video showcasing the biggest stunt in cinema history. In addition, there are YouTube videos about a Train Stunt behind-the-scenes shot in Norway—also, a Car Chase behind-the-scenes shot in Rome. And then a Chase behind-the-scene shot in Venice. Despite some of the obvious mistakes regarding the use of steam engines (coal-based) in the action scene on the train, we liked all of them, especially the biggest stunts of the film.

Tom takes outrageous risks in action scenes and works hard to bring incredible cinematic experiences and thrills to average movie-loving people like us.

A talented group of actors, good musical scores and the conclusion

No wonder, Tom Cruise again leads the pack of talented actors, Hayley Atwell (Grace), Ving Rhames (Luther Stickell), Simon Pegg (Benji Dunn), Rebecca Ferguson (Ilsa Faust), Vanessa Kirby (The White Widow), Esai Morales (Gabriel), Pom Klementieff (Paris), Mariela Garriga (Marie), Henry Czerny (Kittridge), Indira Varma (Dia), etc. in this globe-trotting spy-action adventure. Not to forget the unforgettable theme music of MI.

As of now, Mission Impossible—Dead Reckoning Part One is one of the top ten Hollywood movies of the year, earning-wise. So go ahead and watch this spy thriller from the world of super spy Ethan Hunt. Mind you, all of these are in part one of this movie, and certainly, there is more to come in part two. So, we eagerly wait for part two, which might be released in 2024. Till then, we eagerly wait for Ethan Hunt’s next mission impossible.
