The introduction
To be honest, we never expected John Krasinski (who plays CIA Jack Ryan and is an actor well-known for his role as Jim from The Office series) to play a no-nonsense CIA analyst/agent – Jack Ryan in such a convincing way. But he has certainly surpassed our expectations and made this CIA drama a fascinating and captivating watch.
Unlike most previous instalments in the Jack Ryan movies mentioned above, this particular series is not based on any of Tom Clancy's novels. John Krasinski described its plot as a "ripped from the headlines" tale based on current geopolitics incidents happening around the world.
