‘Plane’ movie is a good old-fashioned action-packed thriller from Hollywood. The two leading stars of this film, Gerard Butler and Mike Colter, make it a fun ride.
In a way, this movie somewhat took us down memory lane with it. And reminded us of the big-action stars of yesterday’s years. And we sincerely meant it as a compliment to both.
Synopsis [official] of the Plane (2023) Movie
In the white-knuckle action movie, pilot Brodie Torrance (Gerard Butler) saves his passengers from a lightning strike by making a risky landing on a war-torn island – only to find that surviving the landing was just the beginning. When most of the passengers are taken hostage by dangerous rebels, the only person Torrance can count on for help is Louis Gaspare (Mike Colter), an accused murderer who was being transported by the FBI.
To rescue the passengers, Torrance will need Gaspare’s help and will learn there’s more to Gaspare than meets the eye.

The introduction
In one of the opening scenes of the movie, the conversation in the cockpit goes like this.
Co-Pilot Samuel Dele: And you, Sir? English, I'm guessing? Captain & Pilot Brodie Torrance: Hell no. I wouldn't lower myself. Nope, I'm Scottish.
Shots-fired! Shots-fired. And that sets the tone for this loveable action flick with a dash of humour. We found this quick and witty reply from Gerald Butler (Brodie Torrance) to be hilarious. In reality, he is an Irish actor born in Paisley, Scotland. And he does not miss, taking a wild potshot at English people.
What did we like about it?
Besides the good action sequences, there are quite a few fun scenes involving the hilarious banters among its actors. Some of its one-liners and dialogues are quite funny.
In addition, we enjoyed the entertaining lead performances by both action stars – Gerard Butler and Mike Colter. Besides, if you are like us – the action buffs who do not like to nitpick and find faults in an action film like this, then you will certainly love this movie.
The conclusion
We would love to see another movie starring these two gentlemen. And it would be better if they joined hands for a sequel with a tighter script. For real, this adrenaline-pumping adventure was a fun ride for me and my friends. To conclude, we re-confirm that it is a total time-pass movie offering a lot of adrenaline rush to the viewers.
